Nayib Bukele is apparently a fan of two-time presidential candidate and former Texas Congressman Ron Paul.
In a tweet he posted on February 12, Bukele asked “Why isn’t this man your President 🇺🇸?”
Bukele was quote tweeting a post where Paul tweeted, “Inflation is caused by the Fed counterfeiting dollars. No counterfeiter, No inflation. This "system" is unconstitutional and a recipe for severe economic disaster.
Money must be sound and counterfeiting must NEVER be legal for anyone, not even for bankers at The Fed.”
Bukele has been a fierce critic of compulsory vaccinations. Although his government has publicly stated that vaccines are available for Salvadorans to use, Bukele has not imposed vaccine mandates, passports, or testing requirements, according to a report by Conservative News Daily.
“Everybody makes their own choice,” Bukele stated in December. “So far, over 70 percent have been vaccinated.”
On top of that, Bukele has blazed a new path for monetary policy by adopting Bitcoin as a legal tender.
Whether or not Bukele’s beliefs are genuine is up for debate. Nevertheless, it’s good to see world leaders stir the pot, especially leaders in troubled regions such as Central America.
For Bukele’s sake, he needs to continue surrounding himself with pro-Bitcoin and other liberty-minded people. This will not only grow his popularity through the implementation of policies that enhance wealth and freedom, but also make El Salvador much more stable and prosperous country.
Because the democrats love thugs for their leaders!
