Last week, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul announced that he is working to acquire signatures from fellow Senate colleagues in an attempt to put forward a roll call vote to repeal federal mask mandates on planes. During an interview on Newsmax, Paul claimed that “what we’ve said [about] the vaccine mandates is, we’re sick and tired of the government mandating our behavior and taking our liberty away, and I’m as mad as the Canadian truckers are.”
I seem to recall an article and-or video that quoted the airlines of being tired of it, too, since the filtration in cabin air was pretty much as good as being outside. And so much of these "unruly passenger" situations you hear about stems from a mask argument.
